Isaiah has been loving his bike these last few weeks. He wants to ride it to the park all.the.time! The park right up the street is at a church with a HUGE parking lot. The lot is almost always completely empty and the perfect spot to ride a bike.
The other morning he rode it up to the park and found a biker friend. It was too cute. The boys rode around chasing each other all over the parking lot for a good 30 minutes.
While the boys biked, Levi had fun playing at the park (when he got tired of chasing the boys on their bikes - see the picture above).
The boys needed a break from the bikes so they came to play too...then went back to the bikes, back to the park, back to the bikes over and over. The only hard part was I required that Isaiah wear a helmet. He has crashed several times and I just feel it's important that he has the helmet on. The other little boy wasn't wearing one. How do I nicely explain to Isaiah that he must wear his helmet in front of the other little boy and his grandpa? Luckily Isaiah was satisfied with the explanation, "mommy wants you to be really safe when you ride your bike."
Several other kids showed up at the park and we ended up staying for over 2 hours enjoying the company and the fun. Keira was with us that day and she had a BLAST. I think she went up the stairs and down the slide at least 30 times in a row! :) She also mastered the bridge.
Hopefully we'll run into the biker friend from the park again! Gotta love the park!

Keira happened to be at our house (she came to play a few days since her daycare was closed) she and Levi loved splashing in the water that sprayed out the side and jumping on it.
I'm sure we'll have many more days sliding around in the water. FUN!
