Down by Santa's workshop this December was horse drawn carriage rides every Thursday night. We made sure to make it as a family one cold night. The boys and I had gone last year and the wait was forever so we made sure to be there before starting time so we wouldn't have to wait too long. Even being early we still waited about 20 minutes! But the boys loved it and that's what matters anyway! It was fun to go down the street with Christmas music going and lights everywhere. We even saw some of Santa's friends walking around (a penguin, a few elves, the Grinch and a snowman). After our ride we waited in line to say hi to Santa. We walked over to see the live nativity scene too. Of course Levi loved seeing and petting the animals (sheep, goat, ponies) and Isaiah couldn't care less. Titus was just along for the ride and did great even though it was pretty cold.
It was definitely a fun family memory and a great way to celebrate the Christmas season!
