It was so hard to believe that Levi was turning 5! But this August he was five. We spent his birthday celebrating him all day long!
We took Levi to Mark's store and hid his birthday presents all around so he had to find them. He had lots of fun doing this and was thrilled with all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stuff he got - fruit snacks, water bottle, poster and huge color book.
We had to run through the bank drive-thru and he was super happy they gave him a tootsie roll.
He received a few birthday cards in the mail and he was so excited to open them!
And then after nap-time for Titus it was FINALLY time for his birthday party to begin! He insisted that he have his birthday party on his birthday which also happened to be a Monday and back-to-school night for the local elementary kids so it was a tough day to figure out a party, but it worked out - and we just kept it small and simple. He picked Chuck E Cheese's for a birthday party which worked out great.
He had a great time and smiled the entire hour and a half that we were there.
Titus had fun too.
And of course Grandma came for the party.
And Caiden.
And Jonah.
After Chuck E Cheese we all went to Mark's store to have cake (right before supper :). My friend Mindy loaned me her Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake pan and encouraged me to decorate the cake with the "star" blots or whatever you call it. I was very pleased with how it turned out!
He got to open a few gifts from his friends -- more ninja turtle stuff!
And then his other birthday request - a pinata (which is why we had to go to the store as Chuck E Cheese didn't allow pinatas!) Here are the kids: Jayda, Jonah, Caiden, Silas, Levi Isaiah & Titus
Levi's first ever "crush" also came by to give Levi a present. Jess is one of our employees and is about to be a senior in high school. Levi has always had a thing for Jess. He asks if she is going to be at the store when we go and he talks about her often. :) She's so sweet to Levi and he just loves it.
I'm pretty sure we went to Pizza Ranch after the party for dinner before Isaiah had to go to back-to-school night to meet his first grade teacher. I'm also pretty sure that Levi and Titus stayed with my parents so that Mark and I could take just Isaiah.
And we almost forgot, but we remembered just in time -- I had this business put Levi's name on their sign. Just about every day they have someone's birthday on their sign. I had Isaiah's name put up for his 5th birthday and did for Levi's 5th too.
I love birthdays. Levi you are truly a blessing to our family. We love you!
