Isaiah's Cub Scout pack had a water rocket derby this July to have some fun blowing bottles high into the sky. I really wasn't sure to expect, but what we found was lots of fun! Each kid had a 20 oz bottle that they filled with a little water and then put them on a stand connected to a air pressure tank. They pulled the trigger and off flew the bottle!
I love that siblings are encouraged to participate in just about all of the Cub Scouts activities. Levi had lots of fun shooting off his rocket too!
It's hard to see, but if you look closely you will find the water shooting all over.
It was also a game to see who could get to their rocket first -- and in the end it turned into one great big water fight!
Titus found his own fun since he was too small to shoot off the rockets. Good thing he's washable :)
