Isaiah and Levi were really looking forward to Halloween. They had been talking about costumes for days and could taste all the candy while doing it :)
I was lucky enough to get to go help with Isaiah's class Halloween party - and walk through their school parade with them. Isaiah is the Venom Spiderman in front (in black).
After school we came right home to get ready for trick-or-treating! Titus had NO interest in wearing any of the costumes that we had for him (and we have at least 10!). I finally got him to put on the airplane costume and go outside for a couple pictures, but he very quickly insisted that he take it off.
After digging through all of the costumes, Levi decided to put on the spiderman costume. (The boys really did want to buy new costumes for this year, but without exaggeration we have at least 25 costumes that fit them so we decided to skip new this year)
Isaiah decided to keep his Venom Spiderman costume on (he had originally said he was going to put his GI Joe Ninja costume on after school)
Once Titus saw the 2 spidermans he wanted to be one too... thank goodness for a 3rd mask! (he refused the costume, just wanted the mask :)
Our first stop was great-grandma's Jo's house! As always she had TONS of candy for the boys.
Next stop - trick-or-treating at HyVee :)
Then it was time for the real thing!
The boys were loving it -- running from house to house! Isaiah was good about picking one piece and saying thank you -- Levi was good at distracting the person so he could make a second grab :) Pretty sure he snuck double & triple pieces at just about every house. Titus eventually slowed down so he made it to the stroller.
After a while we made a stop to grandma's house.
After a break, the boys were ready to go out again. We drove back to our neighborhood and ran into friends and neighbors.
The kids were CRAZY excited to run into Viviane and Val.
And thought the huge spider was pretty cool, too!
Whew! What a fun night -- it was time to head home to check out all the candy, have a piece, watch a halloween cartoon and head to bed!
And some spooky jammies -- (which are now still his favorite jammies, months after halloween -- he asks for his "spookies" all the time!)
Happy Halloween!
