Levi's babies

The other day when we were playing outside, Levi found a sippy cup that had been missing for quite some time.  It must have been set down in the back of the garage somewhere.  Levi decided he really needed milk in it right away.  I went in, washed it, and got him his milk.  Shortly after this he realized that the cup leaked if he dumped it upside down.  I found him laying on the deck (or whatever you'd call it) making drops of milk come out of his cup.  I heard him talking to himself saying, "hi babies.  It's okay babies."  then he started to get up and says, "OH NO babies I almost stepped on you."  It was funny and cute.  He's started to get old enough that he is pretending more and more.
All the while, Isaiah was doing this.
he is in love with his bike this spring!
and I I figure now's a good time to share these silly pictures of Levi - I'm pretty sure this is a different day - but he pretty much looks like this every day now - yellow or red boots (or one of each - he's just as attached to these boots this spring as he was last spring-fall) this silly blue/white penguin hat and a pair of muddy mittens.
Even though it's still been pretty chilly mid 30s to mid 40s, we are loving the chance to be outside every day!

friends

Isaiah is so very social.  He prefers to be playing with someone pretty much all the time.  He loves his little brother and enjoys playing with him.  Especially now that Levi is old enough to actually play cars, trucks, bugs, trains etc with him and understand Isaiah isn't just throwing them around, but creating a situation (his favorite is the dump), but sometimes his brother just isn't enough -- he wants a friend to come play, I get a request for this at least weekly (and keep in mind Caiden is over to play 3 full days a week).

The past month or so we've been able to play with our friends several times.

We made it over to Keaton, Michael, and Collin's house twice!!
Keaton, Michael, Caiden, Isaiah & Collin (Levi all out REFUSED to be in the pictures!)
We went to Will and Weston's to play -- Caleb and Elise came over too.
Weston, Levi, Caleb, Elise, Will & Isaiah
and Caleb and Elise came to play with us at our house.
Spiderman-Caleb, Superman-Caiden, Batman -Isaiah & Pirate- Levi
And you may remember one of my last posts about having our "green" playdate.
Jonah, Levi, Erika, Rhea, Silas, Jayda & Isaiah
Somehow I missed taking pictures with Shiloh and Avdon at our house and the afternoon that Will and Weston came to play -- I'll remember next time -- Jill and Erin - let's get the next time scheduled!!

I even got a Mom's Night Out with a few of my mommy friends!
Erica, Jill, Steph, LeAnna & Me
We love friends!  As hard as it may be to keep up with Isaiah's social life and making the effort to schedule regular playdates can be challenging (it's never easy finding a date that everyone has free), it is so worth it all.  There's nothing like a good time with friends!

Our "green" playdate.

We've been having playdates with a few friends from work for YEARS now!  (That's hard to believe!!)  We scheduled our last playdate on St Patrick's day and made it a green playdate!

Check out the meal we ate - green mac & cheese, green beans and green grapes
It had been quite awhile since our last playdate - between different kids being sick this winter, a baby being born and a few other things - the kids were sooooooo excited and happy to be playing together again!
Here they are all together:
Jonah, Levi, Erika, Rhea, Silas, Jayda & Isaiah
(not picture is brand new baby Marek)
After several picture attempts the kids had lots of fun kicking their legs and screaming!
Thanks for the fun friends!  We missed you Sarah and Izzy!

She's a sweet little tiny girl.  Beautiful as can be!
The boys thought she was pretty special.  Isaiah had to compare his pinky with hers.
They were pretty good in the hospital room too.
 Isn't she adorable?
Both mommy and baby are great!

And here are a few pictures that my sister emailed today.  She just couldn't get any cuter!
And of course Liahna is being a great big sister! :)

jammy day

For Dr. Seuss' birthday, Isaiah's preschool class had a jammy day.  All the kids got to wear their pajamas to school.  The plan was to cuddle up together and spend the morning reading Dr. Seuss books.  It happened to be a Wednesday so I got to take the kids to school - Levi and I stayed a few extra minutes to get a class picture.
Then we were off to Target.  Because Isaiah and Caiden got to wear their jammies, Levi wanted to too. He looked adorable :)
After picking up the boys, I made sure to get a good picture of all three superheros!
And just the 4 year olds together.
Then all 4 boys in my house took a nap :)
