Leaves, Leaves and more leaves.

Our neighborhood is FULL of big beautiful trees.  The fall is such a pretty time - I love to watch the leaves turn colors and see how they all change in shifts - first its one kind and then another.  It's really a great time of year.  We have one tree in our backyard that is particularly beautiful - I look forward to watching the leaves change.  It seems like they all fall off the tree in just a few days.  I love to play in them with the boys.
Our yard waste container is picked up every Monday for a few months -- and then every day for a couple weeks straight.  The boys make for good helpers smashing down the leaves!   We utilized EVERY.SINGLE. pick up the entire fall and still had sooooooooo many leaves left.  Yikes!
Our yard gets sooo many leaves, but our neighbors much, much, MUCH bigger yard gets sooooooooooooooooo many more.  They had huge, huge piles out front as they hired someone to come pick them up.  The boys liked to go check out their piles and play.  We lost a few shoes that we had to go fishing for .. all in a days work :)
Can you find the missing boy?
After all the yard waste pick up days were over, our friend Kyle came with his big mower to get one final huge load.  The boys were impressed and even convinced him to give them a little ride!
And the final goodbye to fall -- the dumping of the pumpkin (that never got carved).  It's time to get ready for Christmas!
