Easter

Easter is such an amazing day.  For the most part we just celebrate the true reason for the day - that Jesus rose from the grave, but the Easter bunny does visit our house to deliver just a few things...it's been tradition that they've been left on the kitchen table with a letter.
A chocolate bunny for each family member (except the poor baby) - somehow the bunny knows to leave a peanutbutter one for daddy and dark chocolate for mommy!  The boys got a lego bucket to share and a bay blade dome and Titus got 2 new sippy cups that use straws - his favorite!
The Easter bunny hid a few eggs for the boys to find too.  In the note was the exact number we had to find.

After the excitement Isaiah went and got dressed for church all on his own.  Isn't he handsome? :)
Levi had daddy spike his hair, but didn't want a picture and then got too embarrassed and flattened it before we left the house.
After church we went straight to my parents house to celebrate Easter with my side of the family.  We quickly took a family picture before the boys  Levi striped down to his shorts.
I love this guy.
My dad had made little tops for each of the grandkids.  His inspiration was the Bay Blades that Isaiah's friends had introduced to him at school.  Isaiah and Levi had been creating spinners with legos around the house so my dad thought it would be neat to make them a "old school" top.  The kids thought they were pretty cool.
We had a little Easter egg hunt where the kids went looking all over for eggs.
We also had some fun dying eggs.
It's always nice to celebrate special days with extended family.  Too bad I didn't get more pictures of the family that was there -- Great Grandma Irene, Great Aunt Sandy, Great Uncle Tom & Great Aunt Sheri.
