Christmas Day.

We woke up Christmas morning to find lots of presents under our tree!  We all must have been good this year because Santa brought a present for each of us!!
Santa left Isaiah's t-rex sitting out for him.  He was so excited that Santa remembered!  Santa also must have known that we are going to Disneyworld this month because he brought Disneyworld autograph books and lights for each boy!
We decided to give the boys three gifts each again this year, just like the three gifts that Jesus received.

The first gift they each opened was their spiritual gift (like the frankincense), Isaiah received a book called The Christmas Story, a beautifully illustrated story about Jesus' birth as told in the Bible.  Levi received the Curious George Christmas story - not really as spiritual as I would have liked, but it worked.
The second gift they received was a gift they might cherish or really want (like the gold).  Isaiah received a Discovery Toys Marble works set and Levi received new finger paints, brush paints, and new paint brushes.

The third gift was something to keep them warm (to represent the Myrrh).  The boys got matching Iron Man socks.
After our little family celebration we went over to my parents house to celebrate with them and my sister and her family.  The kids always love spending time with their cousin Liahna!  Our day was pretty relaxing, just hanging out and enjoying each other. Another set of window clings ruined to the 2 year olds!

When the 2 year olds were napping, the "grown-ups" opened gifts.  Isaiah did a great job helping us open our gifts since he had to wait to open his! Then when the little ones woke up, they opened gifts.  Levi received the perfect gift - his very own "real" guitar.  He is such a music lover and LOVES to play the guitar and the drums.
The boys each got a new sled.  Perfect!
My sister gave the boys each a new play doh set.  We got use of it right away!
We left shortly before bedtime so that we could drive around as a family to look at Christmas lights.  Something I've wanted to do all year.  Levi wasn't loving it and shouted many times that he wanted to go home!  And Isaiah was having fun, but wanted to make sure we'd have LOTS of time to play before bed.  So it wasn't quite as special as I had pictured it --maybe next year we could do this before Christmas day!
What a nice Christmas Day!  It's hard to believe that it's come and gone already!
