2 years old

A few months before Isaiah turned 2, Mark decided that he wanted Isaiah to be able to say that he was 2...He worked with him on saying it and He picked up on it right away and was able to answer the question, "how old are you?" with "2 years old" by his second birthday...

we tried to get him to show 2 fingers while he said this but he just couldn't get it...a few months ago he was able to kind of hold his fingers in the position if someone helped him get them there...

then a month or so ago we showed him the rock, paper, scissors game... and two fingers came up again as scissors. Ever since then, I've noticed him trying to make the sign himself...

and guess what...tonight i was cutting up a pear for a snack and he shouts, "I DID IT!!" and I turn around and look what I saw:

He did it all by himself!! Way to go Isaiah!!
